Positive: Second time staying in Ocean View. It is home from home , Val is a wonderful host , really lovely man and so helpful and kind. The location is a stones throw from Dugort beach. Which is one of the most beautiful beaches in all the land . I could sit on the sand or swim in the sea for hours

Positive: This property is amazing value for money. The owner is so friendly and very attentive. The location is fantastic. Amazing sunsets and beach very close. A few items are tired but very clean. Bathrooms and kitchen are great. The owner is definitely undercharging. Value for money is off the scale.
Negative: Some furniture needs updating but at this price, cannot be faulted.
Summary: Location is amazing, would definitely stay again. Thank you Val.

Positive: Val prepared a property fully kitted out, spotless and comfortable, with attention to detail. Location was subjective and in our case 150%. We had a great stay as a result.
Negative: Not 'didn't like' ie wrong question Booking.com!! Constraints are distance from facilities like groceries, newspapers, bakerys, butchers, etc but this is Achill, and north of island, exposed to Atlantic and very challenging environment for locals to live year around...easy for guests to nit pick...visible signs of area deprived economically which is sad to observe, given the proliferation of holiday homes, which as an outsider, begs the question why is the tourist season confined so much to june/July as many seasonal businesses hadn't begun to be fully operational mid May, could be wrong but we toured all corners in 4 days after hiking.

Positive: The location, the beds all the facilities. Excellent dog friendly accommodation. I would highly recommend this accommodation to families and groups we had everything we needed and Val the host was very welcoming.
